What does the Portland photography club get up to in Dorset?

If you inhabit the area of Portland and are attracted to taking photographs then you ought to come down to the Portland photography club.

At the Portland photography club we will chat and chat photography until we are blue in the face! We will discuss photographs that you have taken and other members of the club have taken. We will of course take images and improve on images using a number of software packages such as Photoshop, Auto FX, and Microsoft Photo Editor . You will learn how to take better photographs and use your photographic apparatus to prepare a better photo. You will be acquainted with like minded people who have an probing eye for detail and a fondness for photography.

There is a minor fee for joining the club but competitions will be free for everyone to enter.

We regularly have competitions throughout the year as seasons change and events happen throughout the calendar year. We have a photographic exhibition every year to showcase our work.

By joining a club it should vastly improve your photography skills where you should be able to make a good living wage from your hobby if this is what you would like to do in the future. Also the Portland photography club will have it's own website with links to your website which can assist your web traffic no end as well as maybe get you new customers if you have any products or services to offer.
